This collection contains one small scrapbook of a trip to the Alaska-Yukon-Seattle Exposition kept by James A. Athy during the summer of 1909. The volume contains newspaper clippings and other ephemera of the excursion. Additionally, there are photographs of the Exposition and ephemera, which is believed to have been a part of the original scrapbook.

James Strain Ledger and Problem Book

This record book was kept by James Strain of Parish Anaghlone, County Down, Ireland. The first part of the volume contains Strain’s practice with financial accounts while the second part is an account book of business activity.
